Let me start by setting the scene for this dreamy Arizona desert portrait session. I first connected with Alyssa, a talented Arizona interior designer, through Instagram. I love her chic, modern work in homes throughout the Valley. Seriously, her work is so gorgeous I have ALL the heart eyes when I look at it!

While I gushed over her talent, we got to know each other a bit more. It was then I learned that Alyssa also enjoys modeling in her spare time. That was all I needed to hear to ask if she’d like to collaborate on a shoot!

Luckily, Alyssa was up for the adventure and this dreamy Arizona desert portrait session! After I sent a weekend exploring a few new location options, we decided upon the most beautiful spot at sunset on the Salt River for this photoshoot.

I am so thankful we were able to capture such gorgeous images as we toured the area amidst the emerald Saguaro cacti and honey-colored springtime wildflowers! The last of the winter storms the weeks before worked in our favor, as there was just enough rain for the river to flow at our location and incorporate into our session. The images below are some of my favorite from the session.
