Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village in Sedona, Arizona is one of my favorite venues to celebrate an anniversary. Inspired by Mexican old world-architecture with artisan elements everywhere you look. It is one of the perfect spots in the southwest for a celebratory occasion. Rich blue, gold, and teal colored stucco walls and intricate tilework set the stage. Emerald-green ivy and vibrant florals soften the edges of the architecture. Sophisticated sycamores frame the space, and ornately sculpted fountains create moments of elegance at every turn. Being at the center of Sedona, it is a highlight in any itinerary.

Joanna and Jace were the perfect couple for this session in May 2026, celebrating their anniversary at Tlaquepaque.

Visiting Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village in Sedona, Arizona to Celebrate an Anniversary

Select the time of day and year for your visit carefully. The summertime heat can be very intense and Tlaquepaque is extremely busy in the summertime and around holidays. Parking can be limited, unless you arrive early. I recommend my clients plan their visit in April, May, September, October, or November. The weather during the Spring and Fall is much more comfortable. At the right time of season in November you can even experience the yellow, orange, and red Arizona fall colors.
