I had such a wonderful time during this Flagstaff family session working with the Marmor family for Highlands Living Magazine! Alice, Jen, Nathan, and Del are a beautiful family. The images we captured are the perfect spotlight for the magazine’s May 2022 issue. You can take a peek at the cover on my latest Instagram reel.

Jen and Nathan first met while attending Northern Arizona University in 2002 so coming back to campus to capture these family photos was a great way to introduce their daughter, Alice, to the campus as returning alumni. Jen was a Chi Omega and Nathan was a Phi Delta Theta and they were first introduced by friends in the sorority/fraternity when Nathan sought out a data for the Phis in the Pines (a camping date!). The story of their first meeting made me smile as a fan of camping around the Flagstaff area myself. Nathan still remembers presenting Jen with a tiny pine tree to ask Jen to attend with him. So sweet! They still have fond memories of the warm summers and short rain showers from time spent in Flagstaff during college breaks as well.

As we explored a few favorite spots at NAU, I got to know the Marmor family a bit better. Jen and Nathan are local philanthropic Phoenix business owners who moved back to the Flagstaff area a year ago. They cannot wait to connect further with the Flagstaff community in the coming years while they are here and love the change of pace from the busy city of Phoenix. In their free time Jen, Nathan, and Alice love to travel together, experiencing new cities and cultures, embracing each adventure. Closer to home here in Flagstaff, Jen and Nathan love to wander the shops downtown and have lunch at restaurants they enjoyed in college (Beaver Street Brewery being one).

Jen, Nathan, Alice, and Del, we are so happy to have you here in Flagstaff. It was wonderful working with you for this Flagstaff family session. Welcome back from a life-long local, I hope our time together helped you feel even more at home here! Thank you for inviting me into your family for the day to capture these special moments!
