Commencement in Flagstaff, Arizona is just around the corner, we will soon be celebrating the Class of 2024! LOVED seeing all of your Flagstaff graduation portraits on social media and the graduation cards arriving in the mail!

Because I am a big believer that the day of your graduation should be celebrated, I wanted to do a little something for my clients. I wanted to recognize their dedication and hard work too! This year I had the opportunity to work with so many amazing portrait photography clients for Flagstaff graduation portraits I couldn’t wait for graduation week to roll around. SPECIFICALLY so I could share this post to celebrate each of your achievements and bright futures ahead! So let’s get started with a HUGE congratulations to the Class of 2024!

WIthout further ado, let me introduce the Bayley Jordan Photography client graduating class of 2024!

Ilyana

As you can see, this session was special because we had some surprise Spring snow! The images are stunning. Soft sunrise light and light snowfall add a special touch, drawing all of our attention to Ilyana’s beautiful achievements and make the colors in the photos come alive.

Ilyana decided to attend Northern Arizona University to study nursing because she loved the campus and atmosphere. We wanted to show off a few of her favorite spots on campus as part of her session. The big two? Old Main and the Nursing Building. Ilyana prepared the CUTEST props for her session, incorporating RN letters and a stethoscope. She also prepared two (2) outfits (her scrubs and a pink sparkling dress that looked adorable). All of her hard work at NAU has paid off. After celebrating with her beautiful friends and family on the big day, she is immediately starting her nursing career. Congratulations Ilyana!

Mandi and Morgan

Mandi and Morgan will be graduating from NAU with degrees in Communications! The twins are legacy attendees, as their mom/bother/older sister all attended NAU. Mandi and Morgan are extremely active! They made the session so much fun with their energy throughout the entire session! They love to work out, play basketball, and spend time with friends and family in their free time. We had the coolest opportunity during their session to capture images inside of the Skydome. A perk of working with the NAU football team! Incorporating a football as a prop, playing on the turf inside of the dome was so much fun for us all! Look how cute their images turned out! Mandi and Morgan, from our time together and your social media savvy, I am certain you are going to do amazing things with your Communication degrees. Congratulations!

Cerise

Ilyana and Cerise actually have a lot in common. Cerise also loves the color pink and is receiving a BSN from NAU! She was first attracted to NAU due to their excellent nursing program. She also fell in love with the campus because she found the environment so different compared to her native Southern California. Cerise found a great community as part of the Kappa Delta Sorority at NAU. She loves to spend time with her sisters working on crafts, exploring Flagstaff and Sedona, getting coffee, and having photo sessions with friends. She included a sentimental item as part of her session. Her stethoscope was given to her by her beautiful grandmother who was also a nurse. So sweet! Congratulations on your accomplishment. I can’t wait to follow your adventures in California as a nurse through the magic of social media!

Ariana

Ariana will be graduating from the W.A. Franke College of Business with a Marketing Bachelor’s at NAU! Ariana is a Flagstaff local so we had a wonderful time sharing stories as we explored the campus for her session! She choose NAU for the excellent business school and because it was close to home. She values time with her family, friends, and boyfriend. Ariana’s style preference of neutrals photographed BEAUTIFULLY for her session. Black louboutins heels, a white dress, and a graduation alpha phi sorority sash to match? YES. Her self-described style of “Stockholm fashion” is so chic and fits her style perfectly.

Ariana mentioned she booked Flagstaff graduation portraits with me because she loved the “bright, fun, and trendy images without being overdone or too edited – just perfect.” Ariana, this is one of the best compliments I have EVER received so THANK YOU! I hope you have an amazing graduation day and enjoy celebrating with your loved ones!

Savanna

Savanna attended NAU to pursue her Elementary Education degree! She fell in love with the mountains (the San Francisco Peaks) and the excellent education program offered at NAU. She has been student teaching 2nd and 3rd grade during her time in Flagstaff finishing her degree. In her free time, Savanna loves fishing, hiking, going to events, and traveling. For quiet time at home, she loves to cuddle up with her adorable white kitty. I completely understand, I LOVE spending time with my sweet tabby cat, Westley, when I am relaxing at home too!

Savanna was so bubbly and joyful during her session, we had a wonderful time celebrating all of her achievements. I can’t wait to hear about all of you adventures in Page, Savanna – enjoy exploring all the area has to offer, it is so beautiful at sunset in the canyon! Congratulations again, your new 1st grade class will absolutely love you!

Kate

An FHS graduate and soon to be NAU attendee! That’s what we like to hear! Kate is a soccer STAR. I was in awe hearing her stories from the games and learning her dedication to her team. She sacrificed many weekends traveling around the state for practices and games and it shows! She is SO TALENTED it’s no surprise she’s headed to play for NAU next and studying Business Management! In her free time, Kate loves to enjoy the warm weather and sunshine with her friends. I was thrilled that Kate brought a soccer uniform and a soccer ball as part of her session. The action shots we captured are so cool. Kate, CONGRATULATIONS on your graduation from High School. Your work is so impressive, especially juggling soccer on top of course work! I can’t wait to see your accomplishments at NAU too!

Emily

Emily is another education graduate from NAU! Her focus is Elementary and Special Education. Emily and I go WAY back. I photographed her sister Antonela’s graduation images in 2022. I was SO EXCITED to work with Emily and see the whole family again! Emily adored NAU from the first visit, seeing the beautiful scenery and all of the wonderful ways she could spend time outdoors. Emily is an absolute joy to work with and such a go-getter, coming up with such cute pose ideas to try! It’s no surprise that in her free time, she loves hiking, camping, traveling, and more with her friends and family. Emily, CONGRATULATIONS on your graduation! We have so much fun every time I see you and your smile lights up any room. Your students are going to adore you!

Kira

Kira achieved her MASTERS degree from NAU this year in Speech Language Pathology. She was drawn to NAU because of the mountains. Her style is IMPECCABLE. Her gorgeous cream colored dress and jewlery took my breath away, the images turned out to be so stunning! In her free time, she loves hiking, visiting coffee shops in town, and spending girl’s night with her friends. She was so bright and happy during the entire session, we had such a wonderful time exploring the park! We LUCKED out during her session with soft silver scattered clouds because we got the best of both worlds. Blue skies that turned into the MOST BEAUTIFUL sunset! Kira, congratulations on all of your successes. Your dedication is inspiring, hearing your journey to get both a Bachelor’s and Masters! Can’t wait to see where your career takes you next!

Emma

Emma and I had the best time chatting during her Flagstaff graduation portraits. We spent time talking about historic Jerome, our pets, our careers, and where she is headed next. She couldn’t resist NAU with the perfectly sized campus, all four (4) seasons and being close to home. I completely understand those perks! She ALSO received a full-ride scholarship, which tells you how devoted she is to her studies, I can’t wait to see where her brilliant mind takes her next! Emma is a fellow graduate of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. She is graduating with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Spanish. In her free time, she loves to hike, hammock, read, spend time with friends, and snuggle her cat! Emma and I captured so many stunning photos it was hard to pick favorites to share here.

Celebrating the Class of 2024

As you can see, all of the senior graduates I worked with this year were amazing. I so enjoyed getting to know each and every one. CONGRATULATIONS LADIES, you did it!! I love my clients had a vision for the session that I could help make a reality, be it the gorgeous locations we chose or props they incorporated.

As you head off on new adventures, ENJOY EVERY MINUTE. Take lots of photos to look back on these years. You’ll be so happy you did. You’re all going to do so many wonderful things. I am so happy we have all connected on social media to stay in touch. I will be cheering you on, endlessly!
