I have an abiding love for outdoor spaces whether I am biking, hiking, or out on a photo session in Flagstaff, Sedona, or throughout Arizona. Many of you are aware that I am a strong supporter of Keep Nature Wild. I am even a Wild Keeper with the organization! Every time I am on-location for a photo session, I take time to help preserve my favorite photography spots and keep them free of trash by picking-up and disposing of any litter I see.
To celebrate Earth Month, Keep Nature Wild has inspired a group of outdoor lovers to band together and and continue to make the many places we love better than we found them.
For the next 30 days, I have officially pledged to pick-up any litter I come across while out location scouting or after every client portrait session. I’m also working to join the in-person events happening around the state throughout April.
The larger collective goal for the group? Picking up 30,000 pounds by the end of the month! I can’t wait to get started.
Are you joining in the effort? Check out the Keep Nature Wild Earth Month group, then fill out the pledge card and let me know your goal in the comments below!
