I am so excited to share this magical Flagstaff mountain meadow portrait session with you today. Meeting Daniela for this Flagstaff portrait session was so memorable! And the images below are some of my favorite I’ve captured so far in 2022!
Prior to the session, Daniela messaged me a few outfit options. I had sent her my style guide, full of tips and tricks to prepare for the session, which was a huge help. And I have to say, she chose the final outfit perfectly! As I met Daniela at our location, I was struck again by her sense of style. How gorgeous is that sky blue dress?!
While we exchanged pleasantries, I complimented the beautiful ring she had on and learned it had belonged to her grandmother. If you know me, you know I love when clients incorporate a sentimental piece into their sessions. Each item adds a personal touch to the story we tell as we shoot.
Walking down the sunlit, tree-lined trail, Daniela and I got to know each other better.
As a travel enthusiast myself, I loved hearing about her recent trip to California. Daniela spent a sunny weekend prior exploring Downtown Disney with her cousin. Trying different foods, they enjoyed sampling Wonderland teas and beignets from the Jazz Kitchen!
Next, Daniela told me about her time at NAU. Studying early elementary education and special education, it made me so happy to hear her passion discussing her career goals. Daniela is going to be a wonderful teacher based on her smarts and sweet demeanor, among other admirable traits.
As we wrapped the session, I discovered that Daniela chose to Northern Arizona University for two (2) reasons. She loves the change of seasons and she loves the scenery in Flagstaff. Hearing her describe my hometown with such love made me smile. Having that love for Flagstaff in common, naturally we are planning an Autumn shoot now too!
Daniela is the kindest soul. She was an absolute joy to be around during this Flagstaff mountain meadow portrait session. I am so thrilled with the stunning images we captured. Thanks to Ellen Navarro Makeup for the beautiful work as well!
