NAU Master’s Graduate Session

As an alumni, Northern Arizona University is one of my favorite locations in Flagstaff. Especially when I am there to celebrate recent graduates! Isabella, McKenzie, Mikalah, and Noemy were SO MUCH FUN during their NAU Master’s graduate session. They were up for every adventure!

When Isabella first wrote me for a graduation portrait session in the Spring to celebrate her upcoming Master’s graduation with her closest friends. I couldn’t answer fast enough! If you know me, you know I LOVE working with upcoming graduates for sessions. I love hearing about my client’s favorite courses, extracurriculars they are apart of, and their plans for after graduation. Everything is so exciting and the energy at these sessions is palpable! Helping to plan my client’s dream sessions is always a highlight. From locations, outfits, then ordering announcements to send to friends and family to celebrate – it’s all such a joy.

Working with Isabella was no exception! When I arrived on-location for our session to meet the gorgeous ladies, I immediately complimented their style! Absolutely stunning, such a great start in powder blue dresses.

Isabella, McKenzie, Mikalah, and Noemy first fell in love with Flagstaff due to the small town feel and adored the the environment of NAU. Being a life-long local to Flagstaff, I completely understand the sentiment. Who wouldn’t fall for Flagstaff’s majestic mountains at sunset, healthy selection of hiking trails, and lush, emerald Ponderosa pine forests?

Although all are graduating with Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders, the ladies first connected through their DPHIE sorority status! They immediately bonded over their love of hiking, watching movies, and going out on the weekends to favorite restaurants/breweries.

It was easy to see how close Isabella, McKenzie, Mikalah, and Noemy became became the past four years. Isabella asked that I help capture their connection and time together before graduation, while still capturing individual personalities. I absolutely love all of the images we captured, so I’d say we met that goal as part of this NAU Master’s graduate session!
