It’s that time of year again! With winter commencement in Flagstaff, Arizona just around the corner, we will soon be celebrating the Class of 2025! I LOVED seeing each of my clients sharing all of their Flagstaff graduation portraits on social media! An extra bonus was receiving graduation cards in the mail!
Every year, I start a graduation post on my website to help celebrate each graduation. It is no different as we are celebrating the Class of 2025. I will update this post throughout the year, after each session, to recognize the hard work and dedication of my clients. It is such a fun year-in-review writing to feature each graduate I work with. Like last year, I had the opportunity to work with so many amazing photography clients for Flagstaff graduation portraits! I couldn’t wait for the 2025 graduation week to roll around. So let’s dive in with a HUGE congratulations, celebrating the Class of 2025!
WIthout further ado, let me introduce the Bayley Jordan Photography client graduating class of 2025!
Veronika
Veronika is graduating from a local Flagstaff high school and she loved her experience at a big public school. Getting to meet so many people and all of the events made the school a perfect fit for her. After graduation, Veronika plans to major in pre med and major in biology! Veronika has been dancing since 2 years old, especially ballet, so we had to incorporate her pointe shoes in the the session as you can see from the image below! In her free time when she is not dancing, she also plays the guitar and loves listening to and playing music. She prioritizes quality time with friends and family whenever possible too! For the session Veronika wanted to incorporate a romantic style, featuring the beautiful landscapes on the mountain. To suite the romantic style, her sweet family also brought a beautiful bouquet of flowers that turned out so pretty! Veronika, congratulations on your graduation, I can’t wait to see your accomplishments continue to grow!

Malia
Malia is graduating from a midwestern high school in the Class of 2025 and as such, she wanted to do something special to celebrate her senior year – capture her graduation photos in beautiful Sedona, Arizona. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful scenery and watching the sun set. In her free time, Malia enjoys spending time with her friends. She loves to play basketball, golf, pickleball, and swim. As you can see from the images, her style is impeccable. Her favorite casual outfit being jeans and a cute top and a dress for a bit of feminine flair. Malia, I hope you have an amazing graduation day. Enjoy celebrating with your loved ones – tell your mom hello from me!

Max
Like Malia, Max is also a Class of 2025 high school grad! When he and his mom first reached out to schedule a session, I was so excited to learn that Max is also a certified drone pilot! That being the case, we chatted about our favorite places to fly throughout the session. I also gave him a few tips for secret locations around Arizona I love. We wanted to make sure to feature his Mavic Mini in the session, along with the San Francisco Peaks. We enjoyed incorporating his favorite hobbies into this session, including mountain biking. After graduation, Max plans to become a commercial pilot. Congratulations on your accomplishments max and safe flying!

Kaity
Now for our first Northern Arizona University (NAU) grad celebrating the Class of 2025! Kaity, an NAU student, is graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing! Like others, Kaity selected NAU because of the location: she loved the mountains and Flagstaff’s four seasons. The welcoming community was another large aspect in her selection as well as the resources for academic support the campus provided.
Kaity is a True Blue Ambassador and member of the Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority (DPhiE). When she is not on campus attending classes, she loves to read, camp, hike, and snowboard! We had so much fun during the session – Kaity is such a happy, bubbly person and with a beautiful, bright smile, you can’t help but smile too! She also brought the most perfect props for the session, a stethoscope and saline flushes, which were so much fun to incorporate into photos. After graduation, Kaity hopes to work in the Operating Room, as a Med-surg, or as an ICU nurse! Congratulations Kaity, you’re going to be an amazing star in the medical field!

Serenity
Serenity fell in love with Flagstaff’s stunning scenery prior to deciding to pursue a degree at NAU. The president of the Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority, Serenity’s love for her sorority and her sisters was immediately apparent. She made sure to incorporate nods to DPhiE throughout the session and I loved hearing about of the adventures and events she’s led with her sorority sisters. Serenity also represented the chapter at the DPhiE International Leadership Forum. She also was a recruitment counselor during her time at NAU!
Serenity chose to incorporate two (2) locations for her session. I absolutely love when graduating seniors select this option when they book with me. It allows us to capture so much stunning variety and celebrate favorite locations around Flagstaff! In her free time, Serenity loves attending music festivals, spending time at the beach, and boating at Lake Havasu! Serenity will be graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology – Congratulations Serenity!

Jessica
Jessica is graduating from NAU with a focus in Chemistry, Forensic DNA, and genetic biology – SO COOL. After graduation she plans to become a Forensic Chemist specializing in DNA analysis. As you can imagine, her studies keep her very busy but in her free time, she enjoys playing guitar hero, watching tik tok videos, and spending time with her boyfriend and family!
As soon as I met Jessica the day of her session, we immediately clicked! Her gorgeous smile and eyes immediately stood out, as well as her bubbly personality and optimism! Jessica brought on of THE most creative props I’ve had a senior grad incorporate yet – a colorful chemistry explosion in a volumetric flask (using Sprite and food coloring), lab coat and safety goggles! As you can see, we had SO MUCH fun during her session at the Science and Health Building (definitely a new favorite location on campus). Because her boyfriend came along, we also captured some cute couples photos during the session! Jessica, I can’t wait to see how far you go in forensic chemistry and can’t wait to hear all of your amazing stories. Congratulations!

Emma
Emma is graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education! Her hard work in high school paid off when she was granted a scholarship to study at NAU and she could not have been more thrilled. Emma is thankful for all of the new friends she has met through NAU and is so grateful for her experiences in college. After graduation, she is looking forward to being a second grade teacher in the valley!
When she is not student teaching, she enjoys yoga, reading, hanging out with her roommate, and spending time with her boyfriend. When I first met Emma at the session, she mentioned the feature she would like to highlight was her hair. I can see why – I was struck by how stunning it is in person, SO gorgeous and really stands out in the beautiful images we captured!
Emma, your sweet personality was a joy to be around during our session and I can see how wonderful a teacher you are based on the stories you told me about your students! Congratulations on all of your accomplishments and I know you will have many years of success as a teacher!

Josie
Josie took part in NAU Grad Mini-Sessions this spring with The Cute White Truck and we had an amazing time capturing traditional portrait and drone portrait images to celebrate her Master’s Degree in Public Health! Previously she received her Bachelors in Public Health with a minor in Indigenous Studies. Always up for an adventure, Josie met me near Parks, Arizona to capture a true Northern Arizona setting – Ponderosa Pine trees, sunshine, and wide open space. In her free time, Josie LOVES to travel. A true world traveler, recently she visited Brazil and Rio De Janeiro. I LOVED hearing all of her stories and getting recommendations on must-see areas. In her free time, Josie also enjoys concerts and music festivals. Josie, congratulations on your graduation – all of your success truly shines and I can’t wait to see what you pursue after this!

Abigail
Abi immediately fell in love with NAU being surrounded by nature and seeing how gorgeous the campus was. She is graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Journalism and has already been featured by organizations like the Arizona Republic. Abi loves to read, write, journal and color. She also enjoys shopping and traveling whenever she can.
Because Abi loves Buffalo Park, we made sure to feature it as part of her session! The park was one of her favorite spots during college and she spent much of her time enjoying the beautiful scenery. On campus, we made sure to highlight two of her favorite locations – Old Main and the School of Communication. It was so much fun shooting in front of First Amendment Plaza as a backdrop. As part of her session, Abi brought a few of her published pieces from the newspaper and I loved helping to incorporate them to help the images reflect her passions.
Abi, congratulations on your graduation, I can’t wait to see where your journalism career takes you next!

Elise
Elise is graduating from NAU with a degree in Fitness/Wellness. After graduation, she plans to go into Strength and Conditioning or Training! Because she works as an intern at the High Performance Center, we had the amazing opportunity to shoot on the outdoor football field there which was wonderful! I always love when my clients have special access to unique locations like this!
Like Kaity and Serenity, Elise is also Kaity is a member of DPhiE sorority. In her free time, Elise loves working out, boating, hiking, and wakeboarding. Elise’s mom was visiting Flagstaff at the time of her session, so she joined us and was so sweet making sure everything looked its’ best for her daughter. I loved our time together exploring areas around Old Main and taking time to feature Elise’s strength and conditioning expertise at the field.
Elise, CONGRATULATIONS on your graduation – you are going to be a star in the fitness/wellness field!

Zoe
When Zoe was first considering NAU, she was drawn to the smaller university-style feel. Like others, she loved being surrounded by the mountains. Zoe is graduating with a degree in Early Childhood and Early Special Education and she hopes to teach in the Flagstaff area after college having fallen in love with the city. An accomplished student, Zoe was recognized by the university as a Distinguished Senior! In her free time, Zoe likes to go camping and spend time outdoors with my dog and friends. When she is not camping, she enjoys reading and doing craft projects. Zoe’s creativity shone through during the session, she had some AMAZING ideas to incorporate children’s books into her session and the images turned out so well! Zoe, congratulations on your graduation – you are going to be an amazing educator in Flagstaff and the kids will be lucky to have you!

Abraham
I first connected with Sophia, Abraham’s girlfriend. She wanted to surprise him with a graduation session for Spring and I was so happy to help! Such a sweet idea for a gift to celebrate his accomplishments!
Abraham decided to pursue a degree at NAU because of the wonderful weather. The fact that Flagstaff experiences all four seasons is a huge draw to students and it’s easy to understand why! Abraham is graduating with a degree from the W.A. Franke College of Business, studying Business Economics, Risk Management, and Insurance.
In his free time, he enjoys playing with and walking his dog, Beto(an adorable frenchie pug mix). He likes to cook new foods for loved ones and listen to music (specifically Bad Bunny and Fuerza Regida).
We had a great time exploring the area around the business building and I love how the images turned out! Abraham, congratulations on your graduation. Because of your easy-going, joyful attitude and smarts, I know you’ll go far in the business world!

Maya
Maya is graduating with a degree in Nursing! She decided to attend NAU because she LOVES the fun and magic of the winters season – she said it makes me feel like she’s in a whole other world. After graduation, Maya will be studying for her NCLEX and pursuing a position in Labor and Delivery. In her free time, she prioritizes the gym and it was a huge benefit to de-stress during the semester. Like Kaity, Maya incorporated some fun props to her session and I loved how the shots turned out! We made sure to prioritize the Nursing building for the session as Maya spent the majority of her time there! Maya, congratulations on your graduation! You are going to be an amazing nurse and you are going to kill the NCLEX!!

Bailey
Graduating with an Interior Design degree, I wasn’t surprised that Bailey had the coolest style! Every interior designer I’ve known has had an awesome personality and were 100% individual which I love. Bailey said she LOVED working with the softwares the most in the Interior Design program so she hopes to focus in that area after graduation!
We made sure to feature the North Quad (her favorite part of campus) outside of Old Main, in front of the Performing Arts sign, and next to the NAU sign on South Campus! Bailey was initially drawn to Flagstaff and the small mountain town feel it has. She grew up coming to the city to go camping, so she always knew it was were she wanted to go to college. Plus, she loves snowboarding! After graduation, Bailey will be looking for work at an architectural firm specializing in healthcare design. It comes as no shock that during her free time, Bailey enjoys relaxing by reading, doing embroidery, or playing video games. She also loves spending time outside at beautiful Lake Mary.
Bailey, congratulations on your graduation, you are going to take the design world by storm!

Aleksandra
Aleksandra was one of the winners of my NAU Grad mini-sessions! She is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and a minor in Biology. Aleksandra brough one of the coolest props for the session – an aspirating syringe! We had the most fun playing with NAU-themed sprit gear and working with an exclusive prop for my NAU grads – golden light-up marquee letters! Thank you Aleksandara for joining me for a beautiful session and congratulations again on your graduation!!

Isabelle
When I arrived on campus for Isabelle’s session, I was THRILLED. Being mid-April, the flowers had just started to bloom and made campus look like a dream! North Campus is her favorite spot on campus so we spent the majority of the session exploring the area. Isabelle is graduating with a degree in Biomedical Science. After graduation, she will be working as a dental assistant and taking the DAT for dental school! In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing the guitar, rock climbing, hiking, and spending time with friends. Isabelle, congratulations on your graduation and wishing you much success in dental school – you’re going to be amazing.

Estrella
Estrella is graduating from Northern Arizona University with a Nursing degree. She is currently studying and getting ready to take the NCLEX, which I know she will ace! During her down time, she loves to hike, play with her dogs, and watch movies!
The day of the session, there was an Earth Day event on campus so it was extremely busy and much of Old Main was blocked-off. Luckily, the college was allowing access for graduation photos and we worked around the crowds beautifully. After 12 years as a professional photographer, I am completely comfortable working around pop-up events like this, making sure we capture the most beautiful images no matter the circumstances!
Estrella asked to bring her friend Kascie along for a few photos, also a School of Nursing Grad, and I couldn’t have been happier to have her as well! We captured some sweet best friend photos together and I loved getting to know each of them.
Estrella, thank you for such a wonderful session and all of the kind compliments, I absolutely adored working with you too! Congratulations on your graduation, you are going to be an amazing nurse!!

Patricia
I have to start this paragraph by praising Patricia! She is one of the most accomplished grads I’ve ever met. CAPTAIN of the NAU Dance Team, she is an accomplished dancer and it is so fun to watch her perform! After 17 years, you can imagine how amazing she is, with many years under her belt competing at Wide World of Sports. Patricia is also a member of the Hapa Club and part of the Filipino-American Student Association.
She brought the perfect props for her session – her dance ring, stole, and dance team poms which were so fun to work with! Patricia will be graduating with a degree in Computer Science with a Minor in Business. After graduation, she plans to find an internship and then work full-time in Data Analyzation or UI/UX Engineering.
Although most of my sessions occur during golden-hour at sunset, Patricia opted for a sunrise session! I love sunrise sessions on campus. Early in the morning, we have a window which allows us to shoot at different angles and locations on campus which makes it so much fun for me as a photographer. Patricia wanted to feature three (3) locations on campus for her 90-minute session – The Steve Sanghi College of Engineering, the International Pavilion, and Old Main! I loved the sleek glass features of the Engineering building and the International Pavilion had the prettiest blooming flowers the morning of the session! Patricia, CONGRATULATIONS on your many accomplishments and your graduation!

Bella
Bella will be graduating from NAU with a degree in Hotel Restaurant Management Program. She selected the university because the program at NAU is #7 in the nation for hospitality schools! After graduation, Bella plans to move to London for a management position! She offered to have me come out to London in the future for another session and I am so up for it – I love to travel, especially to connect with past clients. In her free time, Bella loves to binge on drama tv, shop online, and take sunset drives. We had an amazing time during our session, capturing the best of Old Main and the HRM. Like Isabella and Patricia’s sessions, we lucked out with the most beautiful blooming flowers near the HRM building. Bella is such a star and I can’t wait to see all of her success in London – congratulations Bella!!

Marissa and Isaiah
I love when couples share a graduation portrait session. I LOVE hearing the stories of how they met, how long they’ve been together, and their plans after graduation. Marissa and Isaiah met their freshman year of college at Wilson Hall – they lived across the hall from one another and quickly became fast friends. Of course we had to feature the dormitory in their portrait images! They are the sweetest couple and I loved capturing their connection on campus.
Drawn to NAU because of it’s beautiful weather, we had the perfect session filled with sunshine and blooming flowers toward the end of April. Graduating with degrees in exercise science, psychology, creative writing, biology, they are an accomplished couple and I loved hearing about their disciplines during the session. After graduation, they plan to pursue their masters with Marissa at Arizona State University and Isaiah staying at Northern Arizona University. During their free time, the love exploring nature, watching movies, and reading.
We captured the perfect mix of individual images and couples photos and I couldn’t be happier with the gorgeous gallery. Marissa and Isaiah, congratulations on your graduations! Together, there’s nothing you can’t accomplish.

Makayla
Makayla fell in love with NAU easily. The nature surrounding campus really caught her eye and she really wanted somewhere with four seasons, and trails available. It comes as no surprise that she enjoys hiking, music, reading, and hammocking in her spare time. When she arrived on location, she mentioned she would like to highlight her gorgeous freckles and eyes! They ended up being captivating on camera, as they are in person as well! Bringing her boyfriend along to the session, we made sure to capture a few cute couples images as well, which was so fun. I’ve never met a more supportive boyfriend, he was so sweet helping make sure everything was perfect.
Makayla is a woman after my own heart with her post-graduation plans – exploring the Yosemite National Park! I am so excited to follow along on her social media and see the beautiful images she shares! Congratulations Makayla on your graduation, you are going to have a wonderful time in Yosemite and we are happy to have you staying here in Flagstaff after graduation too!

Courtney
Spring in Flagstaff this year kept us on our toes – we had multiple snow storms throughout March and April so we ended up having to reschedule Courtney’s session due to weather twice! We finally found the perfect Spring day filled with sunshine at the beginning of May. The wait was worth it! Courtney truly wanted to capture the beauty of Flagstaff’s spring season, as growing up in the valley, she wanted to experience the change of seasons and the milder weather. Graduating with an Accounting degree, she plans to attend NAU’s MBA program and take the CPA exam. In her free time, she loves to spend time with friends and family, exercise, shop, grab some coffee, and dance.
Courtney brought the cutest member of her family to the session – her adorable pup Penny! We captured one of my favorite images of the year with Penny dressed in graduation gear, so pretty in pink! Courtney’s love for Penny was so sweet and I loved being able to capture their relationship.
Courtney, CONGRATULATIONS on your graduation. You are going to be an amazing CPA and I can’t wait to hear how your Master’s studies go!

A prior client, Cerise, recommended me to Courtney and I couldn’t have been happier – Thank you Cerise! I loved having the opportunity to work with Courtney while celebrating the Class of 2025 and it is thanks to your recommendation!
Neve
Neve is one of my favorite returning clients, having worked with her wonderful family two (2) years ago in Sedona when her brother graduated! For the session, Neve wanted to feature her high school and the beauty of the campus took my breath away. It was stunning. As you can see from the images: we wanted to highlight Neve’s time on campus at the stables horseback riding, the beautiful teal colored barn, and the awe-inspiring views of Cathedral Rock.
When I arrived at the session, I was greeted by her father and it was so nice to catch up for a few minutes as he gave me an informative tour of the area. Thank you both so much for reaching out and asking me to capture this special season, it was so nice to work with you again!
After graduation, Neve will be traveling to Malawi to volunteer and I am so excited – what an amazing experience! Congratulations on your accomplishments, Neve! I can’t wait to see where the world takes you next!

Mimi
Mimi is multi-talented! She studied literature during her time at Northern Arizona University I also worked in finance, studying the markets and economics daily. Recently she decided to pursue nursing as well!
I am in awe at her accomplishments because there is more. Mimi is also an extremely talented silversmith and jeweler – I have bought a number of pieces from her business and they are BEAUTIFUL. If you would like to check out her shop, please send me a message and I will connect you with her business directly!
We had a stunning sunrise session in Flagstaff in early June, the campus was perfect. So gorgeous and green as you can see from the image below! The library was a huge part of Mimi’s time at NAU – she spent many hours reading and studying in the stacks throughout college and each of her degrees. It was wonderful to capture some images right outside of her favorite location, as the sunrise peaked over the campus architecture toward the end of the session.
Mimi, congratulations on all of your many, well-deserved accomplishments, I can’t wait to see where you go next!
