Brooke and Eric’s sweet 10 year anniversary celebration amidst the Aspens in Flagstaff was so beautiful. I edited all of the photos in just two days because I couldn’t wait to share! Their alpine Flagstaff anniversary celebration was such a magical summer evening. The monsoon clouds rolled away, leaving us with a beautiful golden light for the majority of the session. Then the clouds left in the distance provided such a stunning atmosphere during blue hour. Abby, Cori, and I were in photographer’s heaven, feeling so lucky to be there with such a charming couple, surrounded by such beauty.
Brooke and Eric treated this occasion as if they were getting married all over again. We danced down the trails, playing and exploring the landscapes as we made our way to the ceremony site. We were fully present each and every moment while Brooke and Eric wrote out brand new vows in the flower filled meadow. With the mountain peaks in the background, the couple committed to the partnership again for the rest of their lives. Brooke even sang the sweetest song to Eric before reading what she had written down in the vow book. I’ll keep the specifics private, but as you can see from the smiles and the images below, the words Brooke and Eric wrote touched us all.
Brooke and Eric are a true team – never hesitating to help each other over the rugged terrain. Eric was always the first to offer to help with the train of Brooke’s dress. And they were always smiling.
We wrapped up the alpine Flagstaff anniversary celebration perfectly as blue hour settled over us all. In the final minutes of light after the sun set, Brooke and Eric spent a few soft moments together. Swaying on a perfectly placed swing as the stars came out.
Huge thank you to Abby Land, Perfect Fit Rentals, Sutcliffe Floral, and Haley Jacob for collaborating!
